Thank you for your readiness to pray. Prayer makes a difference like nothing else does.
The current issue at the front and center of news headlines is the detaining of illegal immigrant children crossing the United States border. I’m sure you’ve seen the news and know that these children are separated from their families and put into holding cells. Praying for these children is a critical need. Let’s pray for God’s protective care.
Politics and confusion in the news only hinder finding a loving and peaceful solution for these children and their families.
Your prayer can release peace and wisdom  over the 2342 children currently  separated from their families. And a divine covering over the new policy to end family separation and replace it with a policy of family detention.
Prayer for immigrant children:
Exodus 22:21 – Do not mistreat or abuse foreigners who live among you. Remember, you were foreigners in Egypt.
“Oh, God, have mercy and compassion for these immigrant children. Grace them with Your peace. Comfort them through sorrow, grief, and fear. Rescue them from the hands of those who would do them harm, and provide them solace in Your loving arms. You alone, Lord, know how to relieve them of their anguish. Provide us with the ability to bless these children with Your loving kindness.  Work in the hearts of those in power to bring about Your faithful and loving plan for their lives. Reempower these children with dignity and provide them with refuge. Oh, God, deliver these children from suffering!”
Sword of the Word, verses for you to use:
Psalm 146:9 – The LORD watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
Jeremiah 22:3 – This is what the LORD says: “Uphold justice and righteousness. Deliver from their oppressor those who have been robbed. Do not mistreat or do violence to the alien, the orphan, or the widow, or shed the blood of innocent people in this place.
