Here is a word from the Lord that He put on my heart for you today:
If I ask you to persevere, is that in your own strength? If I ask you to endure, is that without My help? If you need more help, because the pressure is too great, is that without negotiation?
Come to Me, for I have provision for you. Do not run today’s race on yesterday’s bread. Come to Me. I already told you in My word that today has enough troubles of its own and to take no thought for tomorrow (Matthew 6:34). I have a portion for you – for today. That portion will sustain, and in the sustaining, I will also add sweetness. For, the journey is met, not only by My sustaining grace, but also by honey: “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
Why are you frantically running around, trying to sort out your path, trying to figure out your maze? I am waiting for you – come now!
