Some people enjoy stretching and some do not. I fall into the later category. And it always amazes me how the people who like stretching also seem to do it anywhere they happen to be. Airports. Grocery stores. Parking lots. The truth is, that’s not me.
Not with physical stretching at least. But I am 100% in for mental stretching.
A couple days ago I was swept off my feet by the New Testament book of Colossians. After I listened to it on audio Bible several times, I decided to dig deeper. So I checked Udemy (an online learning platform, udemy.com) to see if Bible scholar N.T. Wright had a teaching on this book. And he did! So, I bought the course and can’t wait to get started.
You know it’s good to get yourself back in the classroom. Keep your mind sharp through academic stretching. Topic after topic awaits you. And online courses make it easily within your reach. Udemy is one online platform. Masterclass is good. Harvard offers many free classes along with other Ivy League universities.

Collosians is very special to me too. As I labored to throw off the effects of childhood maltreatment and TRULY live in the light Jesus has for me, I used to recite Col. 1:13 over and over.
I enjoy learning from Orbis Ministries online school with Ken Fish, and Identity Exchange videos with Jamie and Donna Winship. They both have free videos on YouTube if school isn’t an option.
Yes to life-long learning – what a great topic! I have Dean Briggs app “Red Meat Bible”. (Deep teachings made into short videos, bite-sized and chewable! I’m doing his master class on the “Total Superiority of The New Covenant.”) Also Streams Ministry on purity in the prophetic. Canadian Firewall Reset. There is so much out there. And my husband suggests: “Be A New Believer Everyday”
Kenneth and Gloria Copeland sent me a daily devotional “From Faith to Faith” a daily guide to victory. It is also available free online. What a gem! Rich in the Word and revelation daily, and has answered many questions before I asked them on the day I needed the answers, even for other people. It runs the gamut for victories: spiritual, physical, and financial. Kenneth Copeland says It’s our prayer that you become so consistent in the Word that its power will explode in you. We know from experience that power will keep you moving from faith to faith and from victory to victory for the rest of your life.” I also use your “Warrior Arise” as I put on the full armor of God each day. Always read the WORD out loud as prayer and speaking it into the atmosphere. Be light!
Hi Kathleen! I love the topic of learning in this email! I have been talking about going back to school all year. I’m almost 52, a mom and Nana, and am going back to school on a few weeks to earn my AA. I’ve tried 4 times before to do this. This time, with God’s help, I will do it!
