“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him.” -Psalms 33:1

Today’s Word:
My child, lift up your voice and sing; release a new song into the night for I inhabit the praises of My people. Indeed when you release your song, you are preparing a place for My Presence, says the Lord. The enemy would try to keep you down, push you beneath his thumb, and mock you with words of your unworthiness.

Therefore take your stand and sing; release praises, thanksgiving, and a free flow sound from within your heart. Raise up My banner, for there is great power in your song. Even as you release it, you will be securing My very Presence over you, your household and others whom you are laboring over. Just as the song of a bird can bring unexpected treasures of hope and joy, so also can your song distribute treasures that break the yoke of oppression and usher in My light. Come to Me as a child, and in this childlike way, open your mouth and sing. My Spirit will take you up, and release many new and glorious things.

Think about these things, and sing. ‘Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.’”

Scripture:
Psalms 22:3 “Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel.”

Psalms 32:7 “You are my hiding-place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah”

1 Chronicles 16:8-10 “Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.”
