May God bless you and strengthen you. I’ve been enjoying Psalm 33 so much, please take a minute to read or listen to it. You’ll be blessed.
And speaking of blessing, the Lord has “assignments” for each one of us that will bless others. The funny thing is, when you bless someone else, you also will be blessed. It’s just how God’s kingdom works.
In this season of so much global change, I believe it’s important for you and me to know where the Lord wants us to invest our focus and our prayers. Prayer is a powerful way you get to partner with the Lord. I understand that you can’t pray for everything and everyone. The main thing is that you stay on track to cover the things God sparks in your heart.
Of course praying over ourselves and our families is DAILY. And if there’s a chance you’re not doing that, then start doing that today. And you’ll see God’s answers released because He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Today, though, I am talking about praying over world issues. Peace in the Middle East. Provision among those struck by natural disasters. The immigration crisis. Poverty in working families. You and I could fill a white board with all the urgent situations in need of prayer. If you don’t know what you should be praying for, ask the Lord: where would He like you to invest your valuable prayer?
Usually compassion is a sign of your assignment. Remember you can’t do everything, but as you listen you will see what His direction is for you. There is so much CHANGE taking place on our planet, your PRAYERS will release God’s manifest presence like nothing else.
In His love and mine,
