“You are not here in the world for yourself. You have been sent here for others. The world is waiting for you!”
– Catherine Booth”
The voice of a protester puts the spotlight on issues that need attention. And we have been exercising that privilege in America and across the world.
The voice a protester draws put the spotlight on issues that require attention. And that is what is happening today about racial equality in the United States. It’s time for some policies, remedies and mindsets to move into a new era.
However, the violence and anarchy is something that requires clear and immediate prayer.
Jesus said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy;
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
– John 10:10
1. Pray for the end of every form of violence. Jesus said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” – Matthew 16:19
2. Pray each source that is paying people to do professional looting to be exposed and penalized. This must stop.
3. Pray for the self declared autonomous zone in Seattle, WA. Pray for the peaceful dismantling of this 7 block space in Seattle which has been illegally secured as a public statement. Release God’s peace over the region, wisdom to local and national law enforcement personnel, and ask for divine intervention.
4. Pray for the protection over all law enforcement, first responders, national guard, body guards. In this time when emotions are running high, ask for violent schemes and intentions to be uncovered, and a shield of protection over all people involved in medical relief/response and law enforcement.
Prayer will make a difference like nothing else.
