“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful. And so worship God acceptably, with reverence and awe.” -Hebrews 12:28
Today’s Word:
Being thankful is really and truly a powerful thing. Thankfulness is therapeutic, it draws God’s presence, and it’s a pleasing aroma to Him.
It’s time to really be radical and diligent about being thankful. Let’s take a time out, write out a list, and be extravagant in thanking God for everything we have. Be sure to read the verses below, for you will discover God’s will for you is to give thanks.
Scripture:
“Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:17-19
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts since as members of one body you were called to peace and be thankful.” -Colossians 3:15
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” -Colossians 4:2
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His Name.” -Psalm 100:4
“He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for you and I, how will He not also along with Him graciously give us all things.” -Romans 8:32
As I have gone through times of doubt, Gods word always breaks through. He has always been faithful in all matters of my life. In times of discouragement, times of sickness, and death in the family. No matter what happens, He has always come through. Thank you for your constant reminders, my friends.
