“Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” -1 Corinthians 15:58

Today’s Word:
My child listen to My voice and let your eyes be attentive when I speak. For this season of harvest will usher in winds of sudden events. And you may find yourself swept up, enlisted in My service in the midst of natural disasters and even wars. So, keep your ear attuned to Me, both to My leading and to the sudden bursts of compassion in your heart.

As you avail yourself to Me in this way, then only can I give you marching orders. However, cultivate faithfulness. Plan to go the second mile in your faithfulness and persevere with a dependence that leans onto My shoulder. Don’t faint. Continue. Follow through in every small act of obedience, being alert to be faithful in the small things. For the small things are more important than you think. In the day in and day out, lift your heart to pursue our friendship, all the way through.

Faithfulness is required not only in the big moments, but also in the multitude of hidden moments too. That is why I instruct my people, ‘Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.’ Some things take time to grow and some things take time to unfold, remember this. Let your heart soar upon the strength of My love for you. I have a place for you, both in My heart and My harvest. Therefore keep your eyes fixed on Me and let us run together.
