Dear Friend,

I bless you right now with the peace of Christ. May His peace make you buoyant through each strain and pressure.

Last week while I was spending time with God in prayer He began to drop some words into my heart. I believe you will be encouraged by these words so I am going to share them with you here:

No matter what happens in the world, God’s throne hasn’t budged one inch. Letting the roots of your life, your world view and purpose be grounded in Him is a win both for now and in eternity.

Take time to make this a priority.

The prophet Jeremiah wrote:

“…blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
    whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
    its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
                  ~Jeremiah 17:7-8

In His love and mine,

Kathleen

Prayer Corner

Your prayer assignment should you choose to accept it:

  • Today pray for the hospitals, medical personnel and first responders as they battle on the frontlines of an increased coronavirus case load.
  • Ask God to intervene, release life saving wisdom, and help from heaven. Amen.
  • If you personally know someone who is serving on the frontlines of this pandemic, think of ways you can do something for them.
