Intro:
Don’t believe everything you hear. The scriptures describe the devil as the ‘accuser of the brethren’. You must reject and cast down Satan’s opposition to God’s work. Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness, so let’s be diligent in prayer to establish God’s authority over the opposition.
Prayer:
(Christian friend or church leader under attack) Almighty God, I thank You that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. I stand with __________ (friend or pastor’s name) right now in the midst of this attack and I cast down every accusation and lie of the enemy. I proclaim Your word over (him/her) that in Your loving-kindness You will cut off (his/her) enemies.
I recognize that this battle is not against flesh and blood, but against ‘spiritual forces of wickedness’ and through Your blood I bind every stronghold of bitterness and division. I speak peace and Your divine counsel into the situation. I ask that You would work all things together for good and that Your kingdom would come in this present trial. I thank You that Your ear is open to the cry of the righteous.
