Dear friend,

Sending you a big hug today wherever you are. May God renew your strength and may you feel His nearness.

You don’t have to be discerning to realize it is not business as usual. In this current global climate, it’s time for heartfelt and continuous prayer. Are you sensing this?

Prayer is free. You can do it no matter how strong or weak you are. And prayer accesses things that money can’t buy.

It’s a privilege. God rewards it. He bends down His ear and hears it. Your prayer releases help from the only throne that endures forever.

How much are you praying these days?

“Four things let us ever keep in mind: God hears prayer, God answers prayer,
and God delivers by prayer.”
~ E.M. Bounds

Up Your Game In Prayer

#1. Prayer Drive: My girlfriend and I are driving through every neighborhood in our county, praying for families, schools, 1st responder facilities, stores, hospitals etc.

I began doing this at the beginning of the pandemic. It’s powerful.

Find someone that you know well and why not start this up in your region?

#2. Prayer Walk: this has been around for awhile. Getting out and walking and praying. Families need this spiritual fortification. The outcomes of peoples lives will be impacted by your prayer. Try it. Once or twice a week. You get your exercise in and invest in eternity. Win. Win.

#3. Prayer Phone Call: Set up a couple prayer phone calls every week. Again chose people who you get along with. And set the agenda for prayer and the length of time. Having both of these boundaries creates a productive prayer encounter that you will walk away from with a sense of accomplishment. Please give this a try.

#4. Prayer Group. You can join a prayer group. Either in your church or something local. And there are also many national prayer movements you can jump into and join.

“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for,
it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
~ Jesus

Go ahead and do something new in prayer. The Lord is waiting for you there.

In His love and mine,

Kathleen
