Intro:

Jesus reigns unchallenged in the heavens. The writer of Philippians says, “Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name.” If you desire to pray with power, then you will need to exercise confidence and faith in the authority of His Name. He is the One Who rules and reigns supreme.

Prayer:
Father Your word says, “at the Name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” -Philippians 2:10-11 I am grateful for the privilege of using Your name in prayer. Jesus, I rejoice that Your name is the banner over my life.

I accept Your concerns as my concerns, and Your enemies as my enemies. I proclaim Your sovereignty over the earth and testify that “All the nations will come and worship before You!” Your name is Wonderful, unmatched in power and love. “I will give thanks to Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And will glorify Thy name forever.”

Scripture:
Psalms 8:1 “O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Thy name in all the earth, Who hast displayed Thy splendor above the heavens!”

Ephesians 1:20,21 “…which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly [places], far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come.”

Luke 10:17 “And the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

Psalms 86:9 “All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and worship before Thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify Thy name.”
