Intro:
The scriptures reveal that the Holy Spirit comes to convict the world about sin, righteousness and judgment. Having His Presence active in your city/town/village is important if you want to see the people around you be open to the good news. You can change the spiritual atmosphere over the hearts of the people you pray for. Review these scriptures and pray for the full release of His Spirit so ears will be open to hear of their Wonderful Savior.

Prayer:
(for your city/town/village) Dear Father, I ask that You would break through the darkness over __________________(name your city/town/village) and that You would release Your Holy Spirit like a fresh rain shower. I ask that You would give dreams to the leaders, and guide them in their leadership over my area. I ask for Your wisdom as laws are being made, and I ask that You would place believers in office who would seek Your face.

Jesus I ask that You would create a hunger for truth over my city, and that You would cause people to be less fulfilled with the false things. In Your Holy Name I bind the grip of the false religions and the false comforts of sin. I ask that Your love and Light would begin to break through into people’s understandings. I ask for signs and wonders to accompany Christian workers, so the people will know that You alone are God. Let those who love Thy salvation say continually, “The LORD be magnified!” -Psalms 40:16
