“Let the past sleep – let it sleep on the bosom of Christ. Leave the irreparable past in His hands, and step into the irresistible future of Him.” –Oswald Chambers

Sometimes you have to leave before you can enter into your new chapter – leave the disappointments, the offenses, and the expectations you had. You have to forgive, move on, and trust the mystery into God’s hands. You have to leave the old, before you can begin the new. You can’t be in two places at one time, and you don’t want to drag the old into the new: leave it, learn from it, be grateful, and then release it so that you can receive the new.

The apostle Paul said, “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” –Philippians 3:13-14

Let’s do it!
