Hudson Taylor was no stranger to hardship and suffering. In the length of his journey and his life’s deposit into the nation of China, he lost three of his children, went through two wars, lost two wives, and endured illness and injury. So, when Hudson Taylor makes a statement, he knows what he’s talking about.
“It does not matter how great the pressure is. What really matters is where the pressure lies — whether it comes between you and God, or whether it presses you nearer His heart.”
Let’s do this! It’s the only thing that really makes sense in this hour.
There are certain people that when you listen to what they have to say, it resonates with your spirit. Especially when you know they’ve suffered for the cause of Christ. Hudson Taylor is one of those people! Thanks for sharing his thoughts, Kathleen.
