We all have seasons when we’re really pressing into the Lord for wisdom and direction.
I have a few thoughts that He put on my heart about this today.

Psalm 16:7 – “I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
 even at night my heart instructs me.”

When you and I are asking God for wisdom and direction, we really need to pay attention and write things down. Sometimes, God’s wisdom comes to us in pieces, like little puzzle pieces. Once the pieces are collected and we start putting them together, they will begin to communicate a message and a picture to us.

God doesn’t parcel out wisdom like that because He’s mean, but because He really likes to have fellowship with you on the journey and in those “in-between” places.

Here’s what scripture says about what God is like when you ask for wisdom:

He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” -Isaiah 9:6

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” –James 1:5
