What’s Your #1 prayer need?

Someone was yelling in the street on a recent morning, “Don’t move your hands. Stop moving your hands!!” I was at the mechanic to get an emissions check. The voice sounded urgent, so I scanned the area to find the shouter. Okay, there he was – a tall policeman rushing down the middle of the road toward the suspect he’d pulled over.

A row of bushes and about 15 feet separated me and my mechanic from the scene. “I hope we don’t get involved in the middle of something,” I said. And in my heart I started praying.

I prayed for the police. I prayed for the guy who got pulled over. I prayed for all of us regular folk just doing our day. “Lord, the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. I bind those activities and loose your Holy Spirit over everything and everyone.”

You never know when YOU will need to step into your priesthood in Jesus. People are depressed, distressed and oppressed.  Be READY to pray-attention.
