Dear Friend,

Transfiguring prayer is the need of the hour. There isn’t anything the world needs more than believers storming His throne in heartfelt prayer.

As we look at the issues, only help from heaven will do. And unless there’s help from heaven all the other efforts will be temporary attempts to fix things that will fade away.

What is your assignment?

Each one of us have interests and are drawn to issues based on our personality, God’s leading, our education and experience.

I’ve listed out a handful of things that need urgent prayer. Can you read them and chose one or two that call to your heart?

Coronavirus. This is a massive prayer need.
- For a reliable vaccine. For long term strategies in future scenarios. Containment. God’s redemptive purposes. And protection and strength for first responders and their families.

Racial Equality. For policies to be put in place. For grassroots mindset changes. Repentance, Restitution, Reparation. And reconciliation. God’s spirit to move in large volumes. Spokesmen and women who are divinely appointed to step forward in this season.

Job Creation. A huge gouge and shift in the job market has taken place. Pray for experts to be put in strategic positions. Blessings over entrepreneurial initiatives. Economic incentives that support forward movement.

World Missions. Thousands of missionaries are stranded in their homelands during the quarantine of Coronavirus. They need prayer. May support and intercession be gathered around them and may they be thrust out into the harvest once again.

Elections in America. For peace. Clarity. Stability. A lot of prayer is needed no matter what political party you are a part of. “Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a disgrace to any people.” - Proverbs 

There might be other urgent things I didn’t write down here, feel free to write them in the comment section.

When you hear of an issue that seems to have your name written on it, take it up as your prayer assignment.

“Prayer is not taught it is caught.”

Leonard Ravenhill said this all the time, so, I am praying you catch a fresh wind of inspiration to intercede.

Only you can pray your prayers. The way you think, the way you would say them, the new song you might sing. Prayer is a sacred exchange between you and God. 

Prayer is the hinge on the door of His power. If you have any interest in seeing His manifest power then it’s time for you to pray.
