It’s spring, and a time for new life in all its wonder. Soak it up! And let all the new beauty speak to your heart about possibilities.
Speaking of possibilities, I’d like to share a couple about prayer and how it can ignite new growth… Before my husband went to heaven he started using the name “Prayer Guy” and writing a list of funny sayings about prayer. He said things like, “Prayer only works, when you pray.” In other words, when you do it, prayer works.
The truth is God invites us to pray in just about every life circumstance.
Do you have anxiety?
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
When was the last time you took 10 minutes to cast ALL your anxiety on the Lord? Whenever I do this, there are big and little weights that disappear. Why not make it a point to do this today?
If you’re not anxious, but are needing wisdom, direction, provision, His presence, divine counsel – it’s all there for you.
Prayer isn’t a thing we do, it’s a connection we make with the King of the Universe. Let’s make that connection more. You will never regret it.
