Sometimes you need an “oxygen tank from heaven” to get you up off the floor! This quote from Florence Nightingale has been that for me this year: “Live life while you have it. Life is a splendid gift – there is nothing small about it.” Florence was a woman who pulled herself up off the floor many times, and I’ll share a bit of her story at the end that will bless you.
Now that I have your attention, thank you. I know how busy life can get. I am writing to ask you to partner with us financially.
The content on this website comes from my prayer relationship with the Lord. I share with you what He shares with me.
However the delivery system that includes graphic design, email, servers, and software oversight comes from many working hands who have invoices for their services.
If everyone who opens this note gave a one time gift of $20 that would cover our expenses for this year. If you wanted to give more, this would be extra encouragement for next year.
Thank you very much for doing what you can. In return, we will send a free PDF download of my devotional “Warrior Arise” to ‘oxygenate’ your spirit, as a thank you for all gifts of $50 or more. And a tax-receipt.
FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE
Is known as the founder of modern nursing. She was tireless in establishing a standard of excellence for the war-wounded, and was known as an ‘angel’ to many. She contracted Crimean Fever at 38 years old, and for the next 52 years of her life, she was homebound and often bedridden. But Florence never slowed down in her mission to advance nursing and public health care around the world. I love that she NEVER STOPPED. She lost her hair, her face/body were scarred, and her strength was taken by fever. But she kept fulfilling God’s purpose. Live life while you have it… we say, YES.
In His love and mine,
