May the Lord meet with you, and may others encounter God through you, as you journey ahead.
I have 3 things on my heart for you today:
Encouragement to Keep Praying
Your prayers go straight into heaven, think about that. “And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.” Revelations 5:8
And when you think about that, go ahead and PRAY MORE. There is such a rumble on the face of the earth – stir yourself up to KEEP PRAYING. Ask God to renew your strength for the national and international battles that are raging and KEEP PRAYING.
The Best Quote on Prayer I’ve Ever Heard
“I strongly suspect that if we saw all the difference even the tiniest of our prayers to God make, and all the people those little prayers were destined to affect, and all the consequences of those effects down through the centuries,
we would be so paralyzed with awe at the power of prayer that we would be unable to get up off our knees for the rest of our lives.”
– Dr. Peter Kreeft
A Prophetic Word
(in case it’s just for you.)
Read this over, it could be exactly what you need right now. May the Lord bless you.
Several of you have been trying to get a breakthrough with your faith. And despite all of your efforts you find yourself back at the same place. Just stuck. Here are 3 things you can begin doing now to get unstuck:
- First, take a look and see what you are already believing. There will be things. You and I are always putting our faith in something. In ourselves. In our knowledge. In someone else. Read Psalm 147:10-11. Get time with God and take stock of what you are believing. Once you identify those things and let them go, then you’ve created room for faith to grow.
- Get into God’s word. Every day. No excuses. Even if you can just grab one Psalm or one Proverb. Do it. Do what you can. Join a Bible study group where you can have more accountability. Read Romans 10:17. Begin a daily habit to be in God’s Word.
- Develop a biblical view of faith. Faith doesn’t mean everything will always work out exactly the way you want. Take time to study Hebrews 11, look up the names of the saints that are mentioned in that chapter and let the Lord train you. You’ll never regret it.
Ending this now with a prayer for you. Let’s press in, “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.” (Hebrews 12:2)
Amen.
I hope one of these insights hit home for you. If it did, would you please leave a comment, it blesses me a lot when you do this, and it strengthens our community.
God bless YOU ~

Oh the quote from Dr. Peter Kreeft! Such an exhortation to pray, even when we feel very small… Last night I felt a weight on my shoulder as I was trying to sleep and knew it was a touch from God. Felt He wanted me awake to just be with Him. So honoring to feel His friendship.
Thanks for sharing this Marcia, may we all draw near to be with Him.
God bless YOU.
Oh Kathleen, I am always encouraged by your words of truth and wisdom. I am taking care of my 98 year-old mom about 10 days each month. Thanks for your prayers for strength and wisdom for me. God is faithful, even when things are challenging. Love and blessings to you.
I just sent this verse to a friend. The past 3 months I have joined a prayer group, 5x a week at 6am. What has happened? I end up praying round the clock off and on. Feeling the presence of God like never before. I never thought of myself as a prayer warrior, but man do I love talking to Jesus about every little thing and every big thing and everything in between! Plus, I am hearing his voice like never before. This is definitely the way to roll!!!
Thank you Joni for sharing your inspiring experience. There’s nothing that compares with connecting with Jesus the Chief Intercessor in the ways you have described here.
God bless you~
