Years ago I was given a powerful piece of wisdom that has filled me with strength.
Today I’d like to pass it on to you. I heard it by a man named George Verwer, founder of world famous Operation Mobilization.
Mr. Verwer was said, “No matter how many answers to prayer you see. No matter how many supernatural things you witness. Never lose your childlike wonder.”
When we keep our childlike wonder, we have access to heaven.
Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”Matt.18:3
It’s easy to take God for granted. To become indifferent. Or even numb.
Don’t allow this.
Stay grateful. Abide in Him. Keep your eyes fixed on the God of hope.
And never lose your childlike wonder.
In His love and mine,
Kathleen Dillard
This was So Beautiful Yet So Powerful…..Like God❤️🌹👍
So important to come to the Lord in prayer with the belief of a child 😘
Thank you Kathleen for sharing! A good reminder to not lose our childlikeWONDER! As we keep our eyes focused on Him that our breath is always taken away. To be in AWE always at His Goodness, Faithfulness, Incomprehensible plans for His sons and daughters 🌈
In light of His Awesomeness. Let us worship and bow down. Let the kneel before the LORD our God our maker…
Wonder feeds imagination and provides joy.
Thank you for your new format and blogs…love the prayer connection…
Keep pressing on…the Now is the New coming through in you! Be blessed!
Love this blog post including the photo! Thank you, Kathleen.
Only the Lord understand our Wonder even when we grow old. Thank you
Thanks Kathleen, when I feel like my faith is tested because of seemingly so many unbelievers in my social circles I believe they ignore Him because of there “intelligence”, this reminder helps me.. thx
Blessings Todd, somehow mankind leans in the direction of ‘being smarter than God’. It isn’t until we totally mess things up that we began to have a different perspective. Wisdom and power as you navigate your social circles. And much love to you and Kim!!!
Kathleen
Amen on that Kathleen. We sure do need that childlike faith in our everyday lives: )
This is so true. In our fast paced lifestyle, we forget to stop, pause, and give thanks to the One who has blessed us with one blessing after another. God is constantly pouring out His love upon us.
Amen!!!
