“There is something about believing God that will cause Him to pass over a million people to get to you.” Smith Wigglesworth
Who do you trust? Your employer? Yourself? Your family? Your friends? God?
Trust is where you put your confidence. Where you think the answer will come from. And how you maintain hope.
But trust is tricky. People will break their promises. Disappointments will show up unannounced. And even God may not send the answer you were looking for.
So what can you do? Trust is hard. But it’s too important to ignore.
How can you stay vulnerable and keep your heart leaning into trust? Here are 3 tips that can keep you moving in the right direction:
1. Put the weight of your trust in the Lord. The main center of your trust is kept safe when it’s in the Lord. (And use your prayer connection to release every burden and concern.)
2. Make a commitment to be a trustworthy person. Keep your word. Follow through. Show up.
Trust is valuable and being trustworthy is too.
3. Make forgiveness a way of life. Release your offense. Forgiving keeps your heart open to new possibilities. And your outlook hopeful. (remember there’s a great free resource here on this website for you, “Journey of Forgiveness”)
Not trusting will lead you to sarcasm and unhealthy isolation. And you don’t need that.

Dare to trust.
“Those who know Your name will put their trust in You. For You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” Psalm 9:2
In His Love and mine,
Kathleen Dillard
Thank you, Kathleen. We were talking about this just last night in our home group. It is good to remind ourselves and each other, building up one another in love and faithfulness.
It’s amazing how God sends just what you need to hear, exactly when you need to hear it. You are a blessing Kathleen. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord.
I love the way you hear from God, Kathleen, then send it out to me when I need to hear it. The quote by Smith Wigglesworth spoke to me. I had a lot of adversity going in my life along with confusion of our times. Thanks for passing the message along.
