What if you knew you had one more hour left to live. What would you do as your last thing on planet earth? Say goodbye to loved ones? Pray? Forgive? Pay bills? Shop?
As a new believer I was taught by Leonard Ravenhill* to keep eternity in view. I’d like to share a quote from him in closing but before I do, let me ask you…
What would you do in your last hour?
Depending on your answer, you might want to find a way to do more of that today?
“Where, oh, where are the eternity-conscious believers? Where are the souls white hot for God because they fear His holy name and so live with eternity’s values in view?” Leonard Ravenhill
You and I have 1/3 of 2018 before us…so….“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus…”Heb.12
In His love and mine,
Kathleen Dillard

nice to hear from you. I would wait…eagerly
Thank you for this blog!! It is very important to direct our thinking toward eternity. I think that all our decisions will probably be different and more positive if they are made from an eternal perspective. We are in this world but not of it, we look for the eternal city; so although we want to make life her pleasant as possible and our selves and homes clean and attractive, our joy and purpose and meaning comes from the eternal: Everything for His sake and His kingdom, love Him and our neighbors consciously each day, let His Spirit guide us to what activities and prayers are needed each day. Choose to surrender to Him in trust everything!! There is peace in that
Great reminder that time is always short. God bless!
Good word Kathleen for my contemplation and then engaging action to not only hear the Word but, be a doer of the Word. This is the season of acceleration, activation, transformation into reformation and confidence to stand boldly before the Throne and know God is My Father, Jesus is My beloved Savior and Lord, and the Holy Spirit is clarifying His Voice and His alone for me to hear and then quickly obey. In His service- As One…blessings Grace and Peace.
Good Morning:
At the age I am 89, I see at the last hour , My heart will be with the Lord Jesus <He has guided me , Listen's to me and set the day for me, I am still growing in Him. Seeing his love and direction. So I will stay as close as possible. So knowing if it is the last hour, knowing I will be with Him is the only way for me.
Blessings on you Constance~ thank you for your comment. May the arms of the Prince of Peace surround you. And may your life continue to give others hope in God. xo Kathleen
