Dear Friend,
Sending you hugs and hope today in Jesus name.
You probably already know this but no one can fight your, “good fight of faith” (mentioned in 1 Timothy) except YOU.
Last night I was reminded of this during dinner with a friend. She started talking about Derek Prince and his teaching on declaring God’s word. And how essential the Bible is in the battle.
Then this morning as I read through Psalm 145 the Lord underscored this amazing truth again:
“The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.”
Get in His word. Then lift it up as a sword and swing it at the things you are facing.
Things for yourself, your family, your friends, your neighborhoods and your nation.
You are not weaponless!
It’s a time to get a firm grip, take aim and start swinging with all your might.
Kingdoms hang in the balance, lives linger between destruction and resurrection, folks tumble through fog and addiction, anger rages, promises are smashed, hearts slide flat on the ground where they are trampled.
Where is your sword?
He IS the light of the world. Only Him. No other Lord and no other light.
If you have 1 more minute, do yourself a favor and read this quote from healing minister Smith Wigglesworth:
“The Bible is the Word of God: supernatural in origin, eternal in duration, inexpressible in valor, infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, personal in application, inspired in totality. Read it through, write it down, pray it in, work it out, and then pass it on."
Be more fierce.

Kathleen, thank you so much for sharing this! I often wake up in the morning, exercise and go on with my day – heading off to work, telling myself I will read my Bible later.
Reading this I realized I’m like a soldier going to battle without a sword – no soldier would do that.
This has really encouraged me to read the Word every morning, so I am equipped for the battle – even if it’s just for 5 minutes or 1 chapter.
