Dear Friend,

Happy Tuesday! I wanted to remind you that this Thursday is National Day of Prayer and encourage you to join an event or group and pray for America.

The need for prayer in our nation is greater than ever. And your voice is vital. Often, the enemy will try to disarm and discourage us from prayer. I wanted to share this excerpt from my devotional, Warrior Arise, to encourage you in your prayer this Thursday.

Day 3: The Power of A Warrior's Prayers

Your prayers scare the devil. They interrupt his plans to kill, steal, and destroy
They hold him back and push him out.

When you get serious about praying, the devil is going to tell you,
“Hey, don't waste your time. Your prayers can't do much.”

This is a lie. Don't listen. Your prayers dispatch help from heaven.
They go directly into My ears.

I reward prayers.

And I send angels.

Your prayers dispense light into dark places, release dreams into forsaken situations, and set up divine encounters with Me. Your connection with Me interrupts depression with hope, turns away disease with My healing touch, calms the storms of anger, and brings peace to anxiety.

Come. Join me in the house of prayer. I am there. Come lift your voice, for there are “multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision. For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision” (Joel 3:14)

Come, let us run together in prayer.
